PHOENIX –Jason Thomas Williams, 31, pleaded guilty on Monday to conspiracy to commit wire fraud, related to a mortgage fraud scheme based in Phoenix, Arizona. Three others have also entered guilty pleas including loan officer Benjamin Jackson. The remaining defendant, Joseph Bowen Brown, is scheduled for trial in July, 2011.
Their crimes go back to 2005. There are hundreds of these cases under investigation here in AZ. I find it interesting that the IRS had this side of the investigation. You can run but you cannot hide.
